This piece is definitely vintage-inspired, but I tried to give it a modern feel at the same time. The little bird is reminiscent of an Italian tile. I actually took a photo of a vintage plate, cropped the photo to a small section, and then printed that.I placed the image over a glass tile, and then placed the tile over a pretty brass finding.
